Meet The Team
CharlieCharlie is a freshman at Redwood High School. As the student leader of the Larkspur Corte-Madera Schools Mouse Squad, Charlie helped to facilitate both the deployment and maintenance of classroom technology while also helping to support faculty growth in the area of educational technology. “Charlie, save me!” became a common cry among the staff at Hall Middle School. Charlie was selected as the recipient of the 2014 award for Excellence in the areas of Technolgy by his teachers.

GraysonGrayson is a freshman at Redwood High School. He was a long-standing member of the Hall Middle School Mouse Squad which was tasked with maintaining the health of more than 400 student and faculty devices while still attending classes and completing his own coursework. Grayson also chose to help with teacher instructions at school in-service days, even when he had the day off.

HarrisonHarrison is a freshman at Redwood High School. A former member of Hall Middle School Mouse Squad, Harrison used his expertise to help district teacher acquire new technology skills while supporting district goals surrounding professional growth. Harrison also helped tutor the younger members of the Mouse Squad, ensuring the continuation of our student-led support model.

Faculty Mentors
James FesterJames Fester is a classroom teacher and teacher on special assignment in the Larkspur-Corte Madera school district. During his nine years as an educator his has taught numerous grades and subjects. As a TOSA, he helps to support the integration of technology at Hall while presenting at technology conferences across the state. He currently serves as a board member for North Bay CUE. In addition to his role as a teacher, he is also a National Faculty Member with the Buck Institute for Education and trains teachers across the US in best practices regarding project-based learning.

Bob MontesBob Montes is a Technology Teacher and Integration Specialist in the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District. He has been a leader in educational technology for the past 25 years, living overseas for 10 years as Technology Coordinator in Brazil and Poland. He is currently the mentor teacher for the Hall Middle School Mouse Squad in addition to teaching programming courses and technology elective courses. He introduced the concept of student-led professional development to the district through the inclusion of student leaders in district-wide professional development days.
